Workshop : Highland games

"Workshop Announcement" Highland games -   Come along and meet the SHGA team who will presenting the Highland Games history, followed by a demonstration. Would you be willing to throw your hat in the ring and have a go at Tug-o-War? Bound to bring a smile and the kids will love it! The Highland games combine sports, fun and culture in a uniquely Scottish way, and what better venue to see some of the demonstrations than on the Glamis Estate. A stunning backdrop.

Workshop : Environnement Art

"Workshop Announcement"

Environmental art - is a creative and fun way to help you connect and learn about nature. It involves making art and sculptures from found materials – it doesn’t need to cost a penny! Each season brings new materials and challenges, from the fresh greenery of spring to the snow and ice of winter. As your child gets to know their local woodland, beach or other natural space they will develop a sense of space and ownership.

Within this workshop we will explore the work of some land artists, chat about land art and any issues or concerns we might have before getting out and creating our own pieces of art. You will leave the workshop having created some environmental art and, hopefully, with the confidence to go and explore your own local area to create art!
